Madame Web is headed to Netflix later this month.
On X, the official Netflix account announced that Sony and Marvel‘s Madame Web will be added to the streaming platform on May 14, 2024. “Her web will connect us all…again,” the caption reads.

What is Madame Web about?
“In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines,” reads the official synopsis. “The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures . . . if they can all survive a deadly present.”
Madame Web was directed by S. J. Clarkson. The screenplay was written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Claire Parker, and Clarkson.
The film stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra “Cassie” Webb/Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin, Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims, Mike Epps as O’Neil, Emma Roberts as Mary Parker, Adam Scott as Ben Parker, Kerry Bishé as Constance Webb, Zosia Mamet as Amaria, and José María Yazpik as Santiago.
The fourth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe following 2018’s Venom, 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and 2022’s Morbius, Madame Web was released in United States theaters in February 2024. It made approximately $100.3 million at the global box office off of an estimated $80 million budget. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics and fans.
Madame Web releases on Netflix on May 14, 2024. It is also available to rent or purchase on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video, while it was additionally released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 30, 2024.
