Kevin Feige had to explain to other Marvel employees the meaning of a Deadpool & Wolverine NSFW joke.
The red-band trailer for Marvel Studios‘ Deadpool & Wolverine features a line where Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson says, “Pegging isn’t new for me, friendo, but it is for Disney.”
Speaking with Variety, Marvel Studios’ Feige said that he had to explain what this joke meant to some of the people he works with. “There’s a line in the red-band trailer — you don’t have to write this in the article, for crying out loud! — about pegging,” Feige said. “I know what pegging is — it’s in the first Deadpool movie. But there were people I work with who didn’t know what it was. I had to explain it to them.”
