The actor was on RTÉ’s The Late Late Show and when asked about his next appearance on the big screen, he said: “Well they called me back, I don’t know what the part’s going to be but I’m going to be Uncle Ben once again in Spider-Man next year. We shoot in February.”
Sheen will join his Amazing Spider-Man co-stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in the May 2, 2014 release.
