Variety has revealed the list of companies that are participating in merchandising WB’s upcoming Man of Steel. The list ncludes: Mattel, Rubie’s Costume Co.,Thinkway Toys, Sideshow Collectibles, Kotobukiya, SquareEnix, Neca, Jakks Pacific, Noble Collection, Cardinal Industries, and Funko. This may not be a complete list of companies as Variety reports over 300 product licenses have been granted for the upcoming film.
The trade also reports that interest in Man of Steel merchandise from retailers has matched that of last summer’s The Dark Knight Rises. We previously posted about some upcoming Man of Steel toys, you can check that out by clicking here.
Flying into 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on June 14, the Zack Snyder-directed action adventure also stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and Richard Schiff.
