It was recently announced that Disney and Pixar are officially developing a sequel to the 2004 hit The Incredibles, something that fans have been very vocal about for a long time. Though little is known about the upcoming film, Samuel L. Jackson, who provided the voice of Frozone in the first film, seems to think he will be back for the sequel.
“Every time I run into Brad (Bird) he always tells me Frozone is going to be part of whatever’s going on, so I have to believe that,” Jackson said in an interview with Digital Spy. “I guess they would be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful, wonderful addition to what’s already there. I’m just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into.”
There’s no confirmation yet of who will return for the next film, though writer/director Brad Bird remains closely tied to Disney. His next film, the live-action Tomorrowland, arrives from Walt Disney Pictures on May 22, 2015.
