New Fear the Walking Dead Teaser Highlights Lennie James’ Morgan

A new teaser for AMC‘s upcoming fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead has arrived online (via EW) and it features Morgan (Lennie James) and Madison (Kim Dickens) discussing their somewhat conflicting visions for the future as they dwell on the past. Morgan has accepted that he is a “killer” after losing his friends and family as well as losing himself. His outlook is a bleak one, while Madison’s seems a bit more hopeful as she says that they can “start over.”

Along with Morgan and Madison’s voiceovers, the video also highlights the other characters in this season of Fear the Walking Dead, including shots of Nick (Frank Dillane), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Strand (Colman Domingo), and Luciana (Danay Garcia). We also see glimpses of new characters Naomi (Jenna Elfman), John (Garret Dillahunt), and Althea (Maggie Grace).

In season four of Fear the Walking Dead, we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes — the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), joining the story from the world of The Walking Dead. The characters’ immediate past mixes with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes, and threats. They fight for each other, against each other, and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; the heroic, mercenary, and craven all crashing together towards a new reality.

Fear the Walking Dead is the #2 drama on cable and #4 cable series overall. The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero, and produced by AMC Studios.

Fans of The Walking Dead universe will have the opportunity to watch the season 8 finale of The Walking Dead and the season 4 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead in theaters thanks to AMC and Fathom Events’ Survival Sunday: The Walking Dead & Fear the Walking Dead one-night fan event on April 15.
