Annette O’Toole & Corbin Bernsen Join Punisher Season 2

Netflix has announced that Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Annette O’Toole (Smallville, Halt and Catch Fire) and Golden Globe nominee Corbin Bernsen (American Gods, Psych) have joined season two of Marvel’s The Punisher. The stars will be joining the previously-announced Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima, and Giorgia Whigham in the Jon Bernthal-lead series.

Bernsen will play the role of Anderson Schultz, an extremely wealthy man who’s grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he’ll implement less-than-legal means to further those ends.

O’Toole has been cast as Eliza Schultz, a conniving, wealthy woman, cut from the same manipulative cloth as her husband, Anderson.

Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Marvel’s Head of Television, said: “We are delighted to have Annette and Corbin join the remarkable talent this season. Our audience will enjoy them in very unexpected but perfectly cast roles.”

“I’m very excited to have actors of this caliber and talent of Corbin and Annette joining us on Marvel’s The Punisher,” added showrunner and executive producer Steve Lightfoot.

Returning cast members from the first season of The Punisher also include Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, and Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle.

All 13-episodes of the first season of Marvel’s The Punisher are now streaming on Netflix. In the series, a former Marine, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), is out to punish the criminals responsible for his family’s murder finds himself ensnared in a military conspiracy.

Season 2 of Marvel’s the Punisher is Executive Produced by Steve Lightfoot, along with Jeph Loeb (DaredevilMarvel’s Luke Cage), and Jim Chory (Marvel’s DaredevilMarvel’s Luke Cage). Marvel’s The Punisher is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.
