The CW has released the first promo for Supergirl episode 4.15, titled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?,” highlighting the chaos that comes with the arrival of one of DC’s most iconic villain Lex Luthor as he unleashes his revenge against Superman and Supergirl. Guest starring Emmy winner Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men), the new episode is set to air on March 17. Check out the video below!
The episode is directed by Tawnia Mckiernan with Derek Simon and Nicki Holcomb co-writing the script. It is officially described as follows:
“Secretly furloughed from prison due to failing health, Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) visits his sister, Lena (Katie McGrath), to seek her help finding a cure. Savvy as ever, Lena is suspicious of Lex’s motives but when she’s faced with a life and death situation, she must decide how she truly feels about her brother. Meanwhile, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and J’onn (David Harewood) face off against Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala). James’ sister Kelly (guest star Azie Tesfai) comes to town. “

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Jess Rath as Brainiac 5, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz. New to the cast for the fourth season is Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty, Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves, and Bruce Boxleitner as Vice President Baker.
Based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. Supergirl is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
