Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot Release Date Pushed Back

Titan Books Will Release the Official Bloodshot Novelization

Superhero movie novelizations aren’t as big these days as they were in decades past. Regardless, Sony might be trying to resurrect this trend by releasing its upcoming Bloodshot film in book form. Sony Pictures has just announced that it is teaming up with Valiant Entertainment and Titan Books for Bloodshot: The Official Movie Novelization.

The trio of companies have tasked Scottish science fiction author Gavin Smith with writing the book. Smith has made a name for himself in the sci-fi genre with his Bastard Legion series as well as other titles like The Age of Scorpio and A Quantum Mythology. Additionally, he’s written books that tie into the Crysis and Elite video game franchises.

Smith’s novelization will also include an exclusive short story, titled Into the Fire. Unfortunately, Titan provided no clues as to what the story entails or how it relates to the film’s plot.

Bloodshot: The Official Movie Novelization is available now, well over a month before the film opens on March 13. You can check out the book’s cover design below.
