The upcoming Comic-Con@Home will bring some important news for the Army of Thieves movie. As fans already knew, the upcoming celebration will feature a Netflix panel, which will include the Army of the Dead prequel. Producers Zack and Deborah Snyder will take the floor to introduce the work. There will also be some space for director Matthias Schweighöfer — who is also reprising his role as Ludwig Dieter in the film — and actress Nathalie Emmanuel. The panel will go down at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, July 25.
In the meantime, Snyder took to his socials to reveal the first poster for Army of Thieves. It features a safe wearing an orange pair of headphones. The caption reads: “More Safes. Less Zombies.” You can check the poster here below.

Per the official description, “In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.” It’s not clear yet if any zombies are involved.
Netflix has yet to announce the official release date for Army of Thieves, but it will debut somewhere in fall 2021.
