Warner Bros. may be skipping this year’s Comic-Con festivities, but they won’t be able to snub DC Universe’s original programming. Deadline is reporting that the streaming platform will appear to promote Titans, Doom Patrol, Young Justice: Outsiders, and Harley Quinn. Attendees can check out panels featuring the casts and creators of those shows in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront beginning at 7pm PST on Saturday, July 20.
Titans’ panel will probably make the biggest impact, since it’s the only DC Universe series confirmed for a second season. Production on the new episodes has been underway since April. Season 2 is expected to premiere by the end of the year. Comic-Con may give the producers an opportunity to reveal an official premiere date and share early footage of new characters. Making their debut on the new season are Superboy (Joshua Orpin), Deathstroke (Esai Morales), Aqualad (Drew Van Acker), and Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen).

Comic-Con may be the ideal place to announce whether Doom Patrol is coming back for another go-round. However, any talk of renewals brings Swamp Thing’s recent cancellation to mind. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Stargirl is absent from the list of panels that DC Universe is preparing. That’s a bit surprising, since it began filming in March.
The streaming service will also hype Harley Quinn’s fall premiere. Visitors can check out a booth activation that gives them an interactive tour of the series’ animated version of Gotham. Plus, the hosts of DC Daily will also participate in their own panel on Friday, July 19 at 10am PST in Room 9.
