Comic-Con Announces Full Schedule For Thursday, July 21

We’re officially two weeks out from Comic-Con’s return to the San Diego Convention Center. This means it’s time for fans to start planning their itineraries. Comic-Con International has revealed the schedule for the event’s first official day, which launches on Thursday, July 21 with a laundry list of exciting panels and presentations that should leave guests feeling satisfied until Day 2 begins.

The Day 1 festivities will include four major Hall H panels. Kicking things off is Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves at 12pm. Paramount will finally screen footage from the highly-anticipated film with help from the cast and filmmakers. At 1:30, cast members from Teen Wolf: The Movie, will join showrunner Jeff Davis onstage to discuss Paramount+’s upcoming continuation of the original MTV series, which aired six seasons from 2011-2017.

Later on, at 3pm, Kevin Smith will moderate a panel featuring several Masters of the Universe luminaries to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Finally, at 4:30pm, Smith will host a conversation with William Shatner. Conveniently titled “Shatner on Shatner,” the panel will dive into the legendary Star Trek actor’s career and invite audience members to ask questions of their own. A new Shatner project with pop culture documentarian Alexandre O. Philippe will be announced as well.

Comic-Con will also feature the usual assortment of workshop-style panels for aspiring writers and artists across all forms of media. On the comics side, fans can also look forward to career retrospectives celebrating the work of Jack Kirby, Jim Starlin, Skottie Young, Jim Lee, and the late Mark Gruenwald, to name a few.

Voice actors America Young (Batgirl) and Christopher Sean (Nightwing) will also make an appearance.

As previously announced, many hit TV shows will have a presence at the event too. Notable panels include Ghosts, Severance, Abbott Elementary, and Marvel’s upcoming Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur animated series.
