Hulu Announces the Voice Cast For M.O.D.O.K. Animated Series
Nearly a year ago, Marvel and Hulu announced a partnership for four new animated series. As part of that deal, Patton Oswalt signed on to executive produce a M.O.D.O.K. animated comedy, with Oswalt also set to play the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. Now, Marvel and Hulu have revealed the rest of M.O.D.O.K.‘s voice cast.
Aimee Garcia will play M.O.D.O.K.’s wife, Jodie, and the mother of their two children. Jodie is pursuing her own “mommy-blog turned lifestyle-brand empire” while M.O.D.O.K. loses control of his organization, Advanced Idea Mechanics. Or A.I.M. for short. Ben Schwartz will play Lou, M.O.D.O.K.’s underachieving and largely independent 12 year old son. Melissa Fumero will portray M.O.D.O.K.’s 17 year old daughter, Melissa. The description notes that Melissa has inherited her father’s “features,” but she’s still a very popular high school student and an ice skating star who secretly wants her father’s approval.
Wendi McLendon-Covey is also joining the cast as Monica Rappaccini, a character directly from the Marvel Universe. Within this show, Monica is M.O.D.O.K.’s rival and occasional ally after GRUMBL buys out Advanced Idea Mechanics. Marvel also notes that Monica and M.O.D.O.K. will constantly betray each other.

Beck Bennet is playing Austin Van Der Sleet. He’s the new boss of M.O.D.O.K. and Monica, and GRUMBL’s “post-merger-integration-consultant.” Jon Daly is voicing the Super Adaptoid, M.O.D.O.K.’s snarky android servant who also wants to overthrow his boss. Finally, Sam Richardson will portray Gary, one of the A.I.M. henchmen. However, Gary is also devoted to M.O.D.O.K. and relentlessly cheerful about their new situation.
Marvel and Hulu haven’t set a date for M.O.D.O.K. to premiere. However, it will probably hit Hulu later this year.
