All New London Citizens Are Happy in NBCUniversal’s Brave New World Trailer
In just a couple of weeks, NBCUniversal will debut the Brave New World series on Peacock. The new adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s book is one of the original works that the mass media conglomerate will launch its streaming service. Now, Peacock has released a new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi series. The teaser presents Alden Ehrenreich’s John the Savage, who seems the only person out of place in a perfect society. The freshly released footage also features New London citizens consuming soma, a drug that helps them to forget about the strict social laws.

The Brave New World cast includes Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Demi Moore, Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Jessica Brown Findlay, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Sen Mitsuji, as well as Joseph Morgan and Nina Sosanya.
The story portrays a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. The series should have debuted on SYFY before it moved to USA Network.
Comic writer Grant Morrison handled writing duties together with Brian Taylor and David Wiener. The latter will also serve as the project’s showrunner. Owen Harris will direct the pilot for the series.
Brave New World will debut on Peacock on July 15.
