The Boys has proven to be one of Amazon Prime’s best shows, and it’s already lined up another renewal. At Comic-Con@Home, Amazon announced that The Boys is officially renewed for a third season. Presumably the new season will also consist of eight episodes and return in 2021. Aisha Tyler will also host an afterseries for season 2 called Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys. The cast and select creative team members will speak with Tyler as they breakdown each episode.
Additionally, Amazon dropped a preview scene from the upcoming second season. In this clip, the reunited team goes head-to-head with The Deep. Although The Deep is also doing his best Aquaman impression, he’s just not prepared for Billy Butcher. And neither is the poor whale that The Deep was standing on.
