The Boys season 2 is coming later this week, and Amazon Prime has a new way to promote the series. Earlier today, Amazon debuted a new video from the Vought Shopping Network, the company that controls the Seven and all superheroes in the show. Within the clip, VSN anchors Janet Ennis and Leo Robertson introduce unsuspecting viewers to Laser Baby dolls.
According to the onscreen description, Laser Babies come with their “original birth certificate, soft skin, and cold heart.” They also have “real laser action,” much to Janet’s horror.
However, this video is just a promotion for Baby Laser Tag, a new AR game featuring The Boys. Players get to go up against Vought’s superheroes “with a laser-eyed baby.” The description also notes that Baby Laser Tag will introduce some new characters from season 2.

The game and the video were inspired by a scene from the fifth episode of The Boys season 1. Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher discovered a superhuman baby with laser eyes, and used it to destroy his enemies.
Baby Laser Tag’s app is now available on both iOS and Android.
The Boys season 2 will premiere this Friday, September 4, on Amazon Prime.
