In the Marvel comic book universe, Moon Knight is the alter ego of former mercenary, Marc Spector. After a brush with death, Spector was seemingly restored to life by Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. After becoming Moon Knight, Spector adopted two additional personas: a cabbie named Jake Lockley, and millionaire Steven Grant. A fourth persona named Mr. Knight also emerged in recent years.
Disney+ hasn’t set a production start date or a premiere window for Moon Knight. Regardless, the show is likely to begin filming at some point next year.
