In the series finale of Arrow, David Ramsey’s John Diggle seemingly came across a Green Lantern ring. It’s still unclear if John is destined to be the Arrowverse’s Green Lantern. Regardless, Deadline is reporting that Ramsey is making a big comeback to The CW’s DC shows in the new year.
According to the report, Ramsey will guest star as John Diggle in five episodes from various series, including Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash and Batwoman. Additionally, Ramsey is said to have “a mystery role” in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Ramsey is also lined up to direct five episodes of Superman & Lois and Supergirl, and possibly more.

“I remain in awe of the imprint these shows have had on television and I’ve been blessed for the better part of a decade to be a part of them both in front of and behind the camera,” said Ramsey in a statement. “To say I’m excited beyond belief to return to the Berlantiverse would be an understatement. I can’t wait to continue telling these stories.”
Ramsey starred in all eight seasons of Arrow. He also made his directorial debut on that series as well. His previous acting credits include Dexter and Blue Bloods.
