First Marvel’s WandaVision Clip Goes Bump in the Night

It’s just a matter of days before the lives of Marvel fans will take a strange turn as WandaVision hits Disney+. ABC revealed the first non-trailer clip from the much-anticipated miniseries on Jimmy Kimmel Live! a few hours ago, as Elizabeth Olsen was the featured guest. The brief clip has the 4:3 format, and seems to be one shot in front of the live audience. The atmosphere is the same as in many fan-favorite TV comedies like The Dick Van Dyke Show and Bewitched, with Wanda and Vision sleeping in their separated beds. A sudden noise disturbs Scarlet Witch, who uses her powers to wake up Vision and sends him to check out of the window what’s going on. The superpowered android doesn’t find anything strange, but that same thunderous noise sends him rushing under his blanket.

You can watch the WandaVision first clip in the player below at the 4:22 mark.

Shortly after airing the clip, host Jimmy Kimmel tried to get something out of the actress about her upcoming works. Olsen didn’t reveal too much, confessing all the possible hidden Easter eggs in the promotional materials released go above her head. She did say that shooting on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is on hold following the latest lockdown in the UK. She added that it wouldn’t likely resume until the situation in the UK hospitals stabilizes again.

The first episode of WandaVision will hit Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
