James Gunn’s Peacemaker Series Adds Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson

One month into its Vancouver shoot, casting announcements for James Gunn’s Peacemaker series are still coming. Variety is reporting that Alison Araya and Lenny Jacobson will have recurring roles on the show, which spins out of the events of Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Araya and Jacobson will play a married couple named Amber and Evan. However, it’s still not clear how they relate to John Cena’s title character or what sort of role they’ll play in the story.

DC fans might recognize Araya from her three-year stint on The CW’s Arrow. She made a handful of appearances as Lopez, a corrupt officer in the Star City Police Department. Araya later showed up on an episode of Supergirl as a different character. Additionally, her previous credits include Supernatural, Riverdale, and Julie and the Phantoms.

Jacobson recently appeared on Apple TV+’s For All Mankind. Prior to this, he had recurring roles on shows like Narcos: Mexico and Nurse Jackie. Jacobson also had a role in Bumblebee in 2018.
