Aya Cash Not Set to Return as Stormfront in The Boys Season 3

It looks like The Boys Season 3 won’t feature Stormfront. The character portrayed by Aya Cash made her debut in the sophomore season and became arguably one of the most-hated villains in recent years. The Boys Season 2 featured the rise and fall of the closet Nazi, who pushed her white supremacist agenda and became Homelander’s new love interest. However, it doesn’t look like the ex-superheroine once known as Liberty will return in the upcoming season.

“I want to know if she’ll be back too,” Cash said while talking with EW. “I’m not there now. I’m on a new Fox show now called This Country. My contract for The Boys was only for a year so, who knows? Maybe they can CGI my face in.”

The Boys Season 2 finale saw Starlight and Queen Maeve joining forces with the titular band of antiheroes to stop Stormfront from taking over The Seven. The clash ended after the young Ryan rushed to save his mother, Becca, from Stormfront. While Homelander’s son crippled his mother’s attacker, he also killed Becca in the process. The show left the door open for a future Stormfront return, as she was still alive when the Boys left her.

Amazon has yet to announce the premiere date for The Boys Season 3, which is still in production.
