Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead Unleashes a New Poster

Just another reminder, in case fans needed it, that Zack Snyder has more than one movie coming out this year. And while Army of the Dead doesn’t have superheroes, it does have the super-muscular Dave Bautista in the lead. Returning to his roots as the director of the Dawn of the Dead remake, Snyder brings back the “fast zombies” he originally popularized. In this story, they’ve taken over Las Vegas, and a team led by Bautista sees a big-time heist opportunity. All they have to do to get the biggest score of their lives? Avoid flesh-biting hordes.

Netflix already released a poster that played up the heist aspect. Now they’ve dropped a new one, which emphasizes not only Las Vegas, but the kind of comic-book fantasy visuals Snyder is known for these days. Take a look below:

The official synopsis reads as follows: “Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.” In anticipation of a hit, Netflix has already greenlit a prequel and an animated spinoff. They know Snyder fans can get passionate and want more, and are ready.

It won’t be a long wait. Army of the Dead debuts on Netflix May 21.
