Nearly two months after choosing Joseph David-Jones and Khaliah Johnson to headline the upcoming 4400 reboot, the series’ producers have filled out the series’ cast with five new performers. Deadline brings word that TL Thompson, Cory Jeacoma, Ireon Roach, Derrick A. King, and Autumn Best have all booked lead roles on the show.

Similar to the original series, which aired on USA from 2004 to 2007, this new version picks up after 4,400 individuals who went missing during the last century suddenly materialize in the present day. None of the characters have aged, and they can’t seem to remember what happened to them. However, they discover that they’ve been gifted with new superhuman abilities, which leads them to be viewed them as a threat.
Thompson will star on the series as Dr. Andre, a transgender male from 1920s Harlem who uses his skills as a doctor to help treat the 4400. Meanwhile, Jeacoma has been cast as Logan, whose wife Shanice vanished in 2005 and reappears 16 years later, stunning both Logan and their now-teenage daughter.

Roach will also appear on the show as Keisha, a parole officer who joins the government’s response to the 4400 phenomenon. Her character is noticeably wary of the returned individuals due to a “personal past tragedy” she faced in her life. King is playing another member of the disappeared, Rev Johnson, who vanished in the 1990s. Rev comes from “a powerful and affluent church family” and is also “accustomed to the power and clout afforded his position.” When the 4400 return, he will become one of their leaders.
Finally, industry newcomer Best is playing Mildred, a teenager from the ‘70s who abruptly finds herself in Detroit in 2021. Regardless, she will find new allies and acclimate to her new surroundings.
4400 comes from executive producer Ariana Jackson, who wrote the reboot’s pilot, and her fellow executive producer Anna Fricke. Erica Watson is directing the show’s first episode. The CW ordered it to series last February.
