Dr. Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis initially believe that Thor is an alien threat. But they also swept up in the party, and Thor quickly wins over Jane. As for Darcy, she impulsively marries Howard the Duck. Soon after, Acting S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Maria Hill collects Jane and Darcy before calling in Captain Marvel to evict Thor from Earth. However, even the party prince Thor can still withstand a beating from Captain Marvel. At best, it’s a stalemate.
Realizing that Hill is willing to nuke Thor to get rid of him, Jane manages to contact Thor’s mother, Frigga. Thor is so terrified about Frigga’s immanent arrival that he convinces the aliens to help him clean up the damage they left behind. In the aftermath, Jane tells Thor to ask her out and he does. It’s a happy ending for everyone, right up until an Infinity Stone empowered Ultron shows up. And he’s using the Vision’s body as his own.
