Mary’s Poison Ivy Takes Charge in Batwoman Midseason Finale Photos

The time has come for the Batwoman midseason finale. After seven episodes, the third run of Gotham’s Scarlet Knight will take a little break for the Holliday season. While the producers haven’t officially revealed when the show will return yet, it won’t likely happen before next year. As of this writing, it’s still unknown how many episodes will be in season 3. Production is still ongoing and it is scheduled to wrap on December 20.

In the meantime, The CW dropped a shiny new batch of promotional photos for the upcoming installment. The pics focus mainly on the new villain in town, Mary’s version of Poison Ivy. She and Alice seem to get along very well and it won’t be long before they move against the titular heroine. The photos also show an encounter between Ryan and Luke, who is pretty banged up following the events of last week.

Holly Dale directed the episode written by Kelly Ota and Emily Alonso. The official synopsis for “Pick Your Poison” reads:

“DOUBLE TROUBLE – As Ryan’s (Javicia Leslie) family dynamic grows more complicated, she also finds herself in the middle of a Bat Team stand-off between Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Mary (Nicole Kang). Meanwhile, Alice (Rachel Skarsten) finds a new sidekick to do her bidding. Also starring Nick Creegan and Robin Givens.”

Batwoman midseason finale premieres on The CW on November 24.
