Previously announced via press release, HBO Max‘s Harry Potter 20th anniversary special, Return to Hogwarts, now has an official teaser confirming all the details. In it, a few familiar faces from the franchise receive invitations to the famous school. There — presumably in the form of official sets — they will likely reminisce about making the franchise.
Take a look at the video below:
Per prior reports, the special will drop on New Year’s Day at midnight. It will include appearances by Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and Ian Hart. Leads Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will also appear. Conspicuous by their absence so far: Dumbledore actor Michael Gambon, Minerva McGonagall actress Maggie Smith, and multi-role master Warwick Davis.
