After the show teased his arrival for weeks, Wilson Fisk/Kingpin appeared in the first scene with Kate’s mother, Eleanor. Despite Fisk’s initial disbelief, Eleanor dissolves their partnership and admits that she killed Armand and set up her fiancé, Jack Duquesne, to take the fall. Unfortunately for Eleanor, Yelena Belova recorded the meeting and sent it to Kate. Additionally, Maya Lopez tells Fisk that she needs time off for herself. However, Fisk knows that Maya has turned on him and he wants Eleanor eliminated as well.
Clint affirms his partnership with Kate before they make trick arrows together. Kate also confronts her mother and learns that her father owed Fisk a lot of money. That’s why Eleanor agreed to work with Fisk after her husband’s death. To get through the final confrontation at the Bishop holiday party, Clint and Kate recruit Grills and the LARPers to go undercover as the help. When the Tracksuit Mafia begins shooting up the party, Jack actually grabs a sword and helps fights them off alongside the LARPers. That’s why Tony Dalton got this glorious silhouette in the end credits this week.

Yelena arrives at the party to kill Clint, but Kate does her best to slow the Black Widow down. Outside, Maya confronts Kazi and attempts to convince him to abandon Fisk with her. When Kazi refuses and attacks her, Maya is forced to kill him. Meanwhile, Yelena gets past Kate and attacks Clint. Fisk also closes in on Eleanor as she tries to flee. Kate defends her mother, but Fisk easily manhandles her. Only Clint’s trick arrows allow Kate to briefly knock out Fisk. Regardless of her feelings, Kate allows her mother to be arrested for Armand’s murder.
On the ice rink, Clint is unable to convince Yelena that he didn’t kill Natasha Romanoff until he reveals that he knows their secret whistle. Clint confides in Yelena that Natasha beat him in order to sacrifice herself. Yelena relents, and both admit that they loved Natasha before parting. In the aftermath, Fisk escapes before the police can find him. However, Maya tracks him down and seemingly shoots him in the face. In the comics, their confrontation looked like this.
Don’t worry, that’s far from the end of Fisk’s story in the comics. The same will likely be true in the MCU.
On Christmas Day, Clint brings Kate back home to meet his family. It is also seemingly confirmed that Clint’s wife, Laura Barton, was once an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. before she married him. In the final scene, Clint and Kate burn the Ronin costume before she makes a few suggestions about what her superhero name should be. The mid-credits scene is a full production of “Save the City” from Rogers: The Musical.
