In just over two weeks, The Boys will be back on Amazon Prime Video. And there have apparently been a few changes since we last saw them. In The Boys season 3’s new trailer, Butcher is working for the government under Hughie’s command. And everyone has seemingly gone back to the lives they had before they banded together. However, the looming problem on the horizon is Homelander, whose tenuous grip on sanity appears to be rapidly declining. He’s a ticking time bomb, and everyone around him can see it. It’s only a question of when he’ll explode. Boys season 3 trailer.
Homelander does seem to be good at hitting the interview trail and explaining away his romance with Stormfront. But in his private moments, Homelander is crazier than ever. That’s why Butcher is ready to cross the line and become a Supe himself, even if it’s only a temporary solution.

The other complicating factor is the introduction of Soldier Boy, the “hero” who was Homelander before Homelander. Hughie seems to think that Soldier Boy can tip the balance in their direction. Unfortunately, it looks like the Boys may have just unleashed their next adversary. And Soldier Boy may not be on anyone’s side except his own.
The Boys season 3 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 3.
