More than 30 years have passed since Willow Ufgood vanquished Queen Bavmorda and delivered the baby Elora Danan to safety. But his adventures aren’t over yet. Lucasfilm has finally dropped the first teaser trailer for its Willow sequel series on Disney+, which features the return of the title character as he aids a brand new cast of young heroes.
Warwick Davis reprises his role as the titular Nelwyn sorcerer and appears prominently throughout this latest preview for the series. But the real stars of the show appear to be his new traveling companions. Ruby Cruz stars in the show as Kit, a princess whose twin brother is suddenly abducted. In an effort to rescue him from evil forces, Kit forms a party of several unlikely warriors. That group notably includes Willow, who (via voiceover) warns of the danger that stems from disrupting the balance between good and evil.

Other fresh faces, including Tony Revolori and Erin Kellyman, appear in the trailer as well. But aside from new characters, the preview also highlights many of Willow’s exciting new locations, from verdant lanscapes to goblin-invested caves. And of course, there’s no shortage of thrilling sword fights and mystical beasts. The show’s title reveal even features a heartwarming callback to the original Willow theme composed by the late James Horner.
The trailer also confirms that the series will premiere on Disney+ on November 30. Which means if you still haven’t seen Ron Howard’s original 1988 film, you have plenty of time to stream it before the adventure continues this fall.
