Harley Quinn Season 3 Will Premiere This Summer on HBO Max

It’s been so long since the end of Harley Quinn season 2 that DC Universe was still a streaming platform at the time. The hiatus between seasons could have been a lot shorter, but DC Universe ran through all 26 combined episodes of seasons 1 and 2 in less than a year. However, the wait is almost over. Via the official Twitter account for the Harley Quinn animated series, the show will return to HBO Max this summer.

In the image below, Harley and Poison Ivy are off on vacation somewhere far from Gotham City. In the season 2 finale, Ivy’s wedding to Kite-Man was wrecked, and she finally realized that she loves Harley more than Charles Brown (Kite-Man’s real name). So this season, Harley and Ivy are officially a couple, and they will be back in Gotham to stake their claim… right after the next round of Margaritas.

There’s no specific release date yet, or even a trailer. But with summer, there are only two other possible months beyond June: July and August. Presumably HBO Max will start the promotional campaign a few weeks ahead of time. That said, HBO Max did drop Young Justice: Phantoms without any advance warning. So we can’t rule out that scenario either.

Kaley Cuoco executive produces and stars in the series as Harley Quinn, with Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface and the Joker, Clayface, Tony Hale as Doctor Psycho, Ron Funches as King Shark, Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, and J. B. Smoove as Frank the Plant.
