Comic-Con Reveals the Full Schedule For Sunday, July 24

The last day of San Diego Comic-Con is normally reserved for unwinding from the craziness of the previous three days. But as fans wander the exhibit hall in search of last-minute deals on comics, toys, and other merch, the event will still be hosting a few more panels for those who plan on sticking it out to the very end. SDCC has just released the full schedule for Sunday, July 24, which closes out the 2022 edition of the con in style. Check out a few highlights below.

By Sunday, most of the biggest Hall H panels will have already come and gone. But at 12pm, the room will present a screening of FX’s Mayans M.C., which ended its fourth season last month and is still waiting on a season 5 renewal. The show’s cast and crew will also participate in a live conversation moderated by IndieWire’s Jim Hemphill. Shortly afterwards, another FX series, What We Do in the Shadows, will screen a new episode at 1:15pm with help from its own cast and creators.

However, the final Hall H panel of 2022 belongs to Funko, whose Pop! Talk podcast invades the room for a special live recording session at 2:30pm. Hosts Brian and Mike will interview celebrity guests Rosario Dawson (The Mandalorian), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), and William Zabka (Cobra Kai) about collecting Funko Pops and having figures based on their characters.

Several additional panels throughout the day will commemorate the anniversaries of beloved pop culture staples, including Blade Runner. To mark 40 years since Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic hit theaters, a group of film historians and documentarians will dissect some of the movie’s iconic visuals alongside its original art director, David L. Snyder. Meanwhile, another panel will salute the 29th anniversary of the Power Rangers, complete with actors from at least six different iterations of the long-running franchise.

2022 also marked the 25th anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now, viewers can celebrate this milestone with an interactive screening of its iconic “Once More with Feeling” musical episode. Other Sunday highlights include an Avengers 10th anniversary panel featuring several production designers, fight choreographers, stuntmen, and prop makers. Plus, if you haven’t seen Lightyear yet, you can catch a screening of Pixar’s latest film at 12:45pm in Room 6BCF.

San Diego Comic-Con will take place from July 20-24. You can view the full list of Sunday programming here.
