A new enemy from the Disney+ series Ahsoka has been revealed, as a photo from the Star Wars show previews a mysterious Inquisitor.
Empire has released an exclusive image of the Inquisitor in which they’re seen wielding a double-sided lightsaber in a dark wooded area. Their identity is not revealed, though given that Ahsoka takes place after the downfall of the Galactic Empire, the presence of an Inquisitor raises questions about how they can still be around.

What is an Inquisitor?
In Star Wars, Inquisitors are dark Force users who hunt the Jedi that survived Order 66 — the event portrayed in Revenge of the Sith in which the Jedi were hunted down and exterminated by Clone Troopers. Many Inquisitors were former young Jedi who were tortured and turned by the Empire and Darth Vader following Order 66.
Inquisitors have appeared across various forms of Star Wars media, including animated series like Star Wars: Rebels, live-action series like Obi-Wan Kenobi, and video games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
“Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy,” reads the official description.
