James Gunn has offered up an update on the production of the upcoming DC Studios series Creature Commandos. The director revealed that the show is still on track to release next year.
Gunn recently responded to a fan on Twitter who asked about the animated series, asking if it was still set to release in 2024 as originally planned. The filmmaker revealed that it was, noting that there hadn’t been any delays for the series yet. He also noted any other information is either a mistake or someone “misspeaking.”
The question came after rumors began floating around that the show had been postponed, or would be delayed due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike in Hollywood.
