Marvel Studios has celebrated the success of What If…? Season 2 by releasing a new first look at the upcoming third season.
“From all of us at Marvel Studios, THANK YOU for watching season 2 of #WhatIf and joining us on this journey across time…space…reality,” Marvel Studios posted on its X (formerly Twitter) account. “We’re excited to share this early look at some of the endless possibilities we’ll explore together in season 3 of What If…?”
Although did not reveal any additional details about the four released images, it looks like they are part of two separate episodes. The first two images seem to tease an episode that finds Sam Wilson/Captain America and Monica Rambeau wearing massive robotic suits of armor. The other two images look to be part of the Season 3 episode that Marvel previously teased, which will feature the Winter Soldier, Red Guardian, and Goliath.

What If…? explores alternate timelines and realities in the MCU
What If…? hails from head writer A.C. Bradley and director Bryan Andrew, who also serve as executive producers on the animated Disney+ series. In the recently released Season 2, “The Watcher continues the journey as our guide through the vast multiverse, introducing brand-new and familiar faces throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The animated anthology series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.”
The first two seasons of What If…? are available to stream on Disney+. A release date for Season 3 has not yet been announced.
