Actor Lamorne Morris has joined the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man Noir series at Prime Video, which now officially has a new title as well.
The series, which is now known as Spider-Noir, will star in the series alongside Nicolas Cage, who will reprise the role of Spider-Man Noir that he has played in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse franchise. Originally titled Noir, the series has been renamed to highlight its connection to the world of Spider-Man.
According to a report from Deadline, Morris will play the role of Robbie Robertson in the upcoming project. The character is described as a journalist who is “driven, hard-working, and won’t take no for an answer,” that is trying to make it as a professional in 1930s New York, which is when the series is set.
