Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Teaser Hints At Sith Encounter

This Friday should be a big one for Star Wars fans. The Triple Force Friday Global Reveal will showcase three crucial parts of the franchise. These include Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerThe Mandalorian, and the products that tie in with it.

However, fans will also get a new look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the new video game from Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. Now, a new teaser has debuted on the EA Star Wars Twitter page, and it suggests that Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis will have his hands full.

In the teaser, Cal is “searching for something…very precious to the Empire.” It shows an unseen enemy wielding a lightsaber, on the hunt for him, with his mentor Cere Jundo firing back at them.

While some fans think this may be Darth Vader, it’s likely that it’s the Second Sister. She’s an Inquisitor trained by Vader who has been sent to destroy Kestis and other remaining Jedi Knights. This ties in with the Emperor’s “Order 66” initiative, which was first introduced in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

There’s no word yet if Vader will appear in EA’s game. However, some new footage may shed some light on that mystery when it debuts on Friday.

One character that will definitely return is Saw Gerrera, played once again by Forest Whitaker. Saw will lend a hand to Kestis and Jundo. He was prominently featured in gameplay footage that first debuted back in June.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s latest trailer arrives on September 26. The full game arrives on November 15 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
