Following yesterday’s tease, EA and Respawn Entertainment have unveiled the new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Clocking in at just under two minutes, this latest ad offers new story and character details for the highly anticipated game.
It’s been known for a while that Cameron Monaghan’s Cal Kestis is a former Jedi Padawan who escaped the scourge of Order 66 that preceded the Galactic Empire’s rise to power. But now, we have a slightly better idea of what Cal’s upcoming adventure entails. After a scuffle with the Inquistorius’ Second Sister, Cal is saved by another ex-Jedi, Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), and the alien Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck). Since he’s been on the run for the last few years, Cal is reluctant to trust his rescuers at first. However, once Cere insists that they share a “common cause,” he accepts their invitation to come out of hiding.

Whatever Cal and his new companions are searching for, it’s going to take them to several planets across the galaxy. Unfortunately, the Inquisitorius is hot on their trail. As the Second Sister observes, the group’s objective happens to be “very precious to the Empire” as well. Judging by the iconography on one of the temples Cal visits, their quest seems crucial to re-establishing the Jedi Order.
Of course, Cal will have to deal with threats other than Stormtroopers and the Inquisitorius. The trailer also shows him facing off against a few alien behemoths, including a bat-like creature that he can ride. In any case, the game’s Force and lightsaber combat continues to look impressive, and it’s sure to give players the next-gen Jedi experience they’ve been waiting for.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order hits stores on November 15. You can watch the new trailer for the game below, then tell us what you think in the comment section!
