Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Adds No Way Home Skins

Spider-Man: No Way Home continues the MCU’s tradition of giving Peter Parker at least two new suits to wear in each of his standalone movies. And soon, gamers will be able to test-drive those suits for themselves…as long as they own a PlayStation 5. Later this week, Insomniac Games will release a new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered that adds two bonus skins inspired by No Way Home.

Insomniac’s latest update will allow players to swing around Manhattan while wearing the integrated suit, which is basically a mash-up of Peter’s Iron Spider suit and the red and black upgraded suit introduced in Spider-Man: Far From Home. It also adds his new black and gold suit, which, judging by its appearances in No Way Home’s trailers, may help Peter channel some of Doctor Strange’s mystical powers. Right now, the only way to unlock these suits is by snagging a copy of Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which includes a voucher to play the remastered version of Spider-Man PS4.

The suits’ next-gen exclusivity is likely going to burn PS4 users who still haven’t upgraded their systems. However, it’s possible that Insomniac devs will eventually change their minds and make them available to everyone. This famously happened last year when Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered launched with three new bonus suits that later made their way onto the PS4 version, including one skin based on Andrew Garfield’s costume from the first Amazing Spider-Man movie.

The new suits will hit Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered this Friday, December 10.
