Depending on the timeline, Bizarro is either an imperfect clone of Superman or his doppelganger from another Earth. In both cases, however, Superman is generally agreed to be the more powerful of the two. That may no longer be the case, according to the first issue of Action Comics from Jason Aaron and John Timms.
DC Comics has released a preview of Action Comics #1061, which showcases Bizarro’s return to Earth-Prime. He has also been confirmed as being more powerful than ever, having sent Superman to Venus with a single punch. This does not bode well for Earth or the Man of Steel, even before it is revealed that Bizarro has some new dark purpose and may be using magic.

Why Bizarro is Weaker Than Superman
There are several reasons why Superman is more powerful than Bizarro, despite the two being meant to be balanced opposites. In the case of the clone Bizarro, Superman has been around longer, and had more time to absorb Earth’s yellow sunlight. There is also the fact that. as an imperfect clone, Bizarro cannot reach the same level of potential as Superman.
It should be noted that Bizarro is not weakened by yellow sunlight or dependent on red sunlight. These ideas have been utilized in various Superman adaptations, such as the television shows Smallville and Superman and Lois. In the regular comics, he is empowered by yellow sunlight, just like Superman.
Bizarro has developed odd powers under the light of a blue sun, like being able to clone himself. Superman, by contrast, finds his powers enhanced by the light of a blue sun. However, Bizzaro is just as vulnerable to magic as Superman, making his use of sorcery in Action Comics rather worrying.
Action Comics #1061 arrives in comic shops everywhere on January 9, 2024.
