Batman 1966 Batcycle, Villain’s Lair and More From McFarlane Toys

Batman feels the need…the need for speed! Within safely posted government speed limits, naturally. This is Batman 1966, who never disobeys a law. But thanks to McFarlane Toys, the 6-inch Adam West-based figure now has another way to get around. The retro Batcycle joins the retro line, and while it’s not the Yvonne Craig Batgirl version, it’s one that can sit both Batman and Robin, with Robin’s sidecar separately detachable. He’s not old enough to drive the bike unsupervised, of course.

Along with the new Batcycle comes a Villain’s Lair playset, which is more a set of diorama accessories. And a charmingly retro kind, too, featuring a large “Villains United” sign with several of Batman’s major foes. Other pieces include tables, chairs, bookcase, filing cabinet, and Catwoman’s cat.

Speaking of Catwoman — Julie Newmar’s version joins the line, along with Otto Preminger’s Mr. Freeze and black and white variants of Batman and Joker. The latter two reproduce the way many families still watched Batman on TV in the ’60s, via black-and-white television set.

All of these sell exclusively at Target, though not all seem currently available online yet. Holy scalping hazard! Take a look through the gallery below for new images.
