Clark Backo has joined the cast of Venom 3.
Per Variety, Backo has officially joined the cast of Venom 3, which is scheduled to release in United States theaters later this year. It’s currently unknown who Backo is playing in the movie.
Backo is best known for playing the character of Rosie in the Canadian sitcom Letterkenny. She also starred opposite LaKeith Stanfield in Apple TV+’s The Changeling, while she’s additionally appeared in television series such as Station Eleven, The Hot Zone, The Handmaid’s Tale, and more.
What do we know about Venom 3?
Venom 3 is being directed by Kelly Marcel. Marcel also wrote the screenplay for the film, based on a story she and Tom Hardy came up with. Hardy and Marcel also produce the movie with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.
Hardy is reprising his role as Eddie Brock/Venom in the film. Along with Backo, Hardy is joined by Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor, both of whom are playing undisclosed roles.

Venom 3 will be the sixth official entry in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The shared universe started in 2018 with the first Venom movie, directed by Ruben Fleischer. The sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, followed in 2021 and saw Andy Serkis take over directing duties.
Following that, the Jared Leto-led Morbius flew into theaters in April 2022 before S. J. Clarkson’s Madame Web, which stars Dakota Johnson, just recently released in the United States on February 14, 2024.
Prior to Venom 3, Sony is putting out Kraven the Hunter on August 30, 2024. Directed by J. C. Chandor, the movie stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the titular role, while the rest of the cast also includes Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, and Alessandro Nivola.
Venom 3 is scheduled to hit United States theaters on November 8, 2024.
