The Spengler family is on the hot pursuit of an enormous ghost dragon in a special clip from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
Sony gave Ghostbusters fans a special treat with an exclusive sneak peek showcasing Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd) alongside Spengler family members Callie (Carrie Coon), Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) patroling the streets of New York City in the iconic Ecto-1. The exciting chase sequence, featuring Phoebe in the gunner seat using her Proton Pack to capture Hell’s Kitchen Sewer Dragon, is a callback to the Muncher chase scene from 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Additionally, the clip gives a first look at the team’s new toy: The FPV Drone Trap.
Star Rudd recently shared his excitement at driving the Ecto-1 in the upcoming Ghostbusters installment. “To be in a Ghostbusters flight suit and driving the Ecto-1 was a real kick,” Rudd said in an interview with Total Film. “You know, there aren’t many of those vehicles around. It isn’t like they built them new for this movie. It’s pretty crazy to think, ‘This is the Ecto-1 from the original Ghostbusters and I get to drive it.’”
