Make that three new series for Marvel NOW! that didn’t have a preceeding teaser image. Marvel has now officially announced that Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova will be relaunching for their Marvel NOW! initiative.
Brian Michael Bendis will be writing the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy series with Steve McNiven drawing the title. The team in the comic will reflect that of the one in the upcoming film: Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Drax and Gamora, with one more addition, Iron Man. It will launch in February of 2013 with a #0.1 issue with the #1 issue coming out next March.
Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuinness will be bringing us the relaunched Nova series, which will feature Sam Alexander as the newst incarnation of Nova. The comic will also launch in February.
