It’s no secret that Marvel Television is going through a transitional period. Regardless, it isn’t slowing down the casting process for the upcoming Helstrom TV show. Deadline brings word that David Meunier is the latest addition to this series. Meunier will recur on the show as Finn Miller, who’s “part of a secret organization that handles work not for the faint of heart.”
Meunier is perhaps most widely recognized for his recurring role as Johnny Crowder on FX’s Justified. He has also appeared on several episodes of Arrow as Ishmael Gregor. Although most of his work has been on TV, Meunier has had small parts on the big screen as well. He appeared as a soldier in The Incredible Hulk in 2008. Additionally, he had an uncredited role in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.

Marvel announced Helstrom earlier this year when Jeph Loeb was still running the company’s TV arm. At a time when leadership is changing hands from Loeb to Kevin Feige, virtually every Marvel series not being developed for Disney+ is coming to an end. So the fact that progress is being made in Helstrom’s development is actually rather impressive.
Meunier joins a cast headlined by Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon as Daimon Helstrom and his sister, Ana. Other cast members include Elizabeth Marvel, Ariana Guerra, Robert Wisdom, June Carryl, Alain Uy, and Daniel Cudmore. Paul Zbyszewski is serving as showrunner for the series, which will eventually premiere on Hulu.
