There’s a new Lovecraft Country trailer out today, and the upcoming HBO series isn’t hiding from its supernatural roots. It’s finally showing off some of the elder gods and monsters that await young Atticus Black. Somewhere in Lovecraft Country, Atticus’ father has left something behind for his son to find. That’s why Atticus; his uncle, George; and their friend, Letitia; are heading straight into danger.
However, the supernatural isn’t the only threat they will face. If the creatures of darkness don’t get them, the very real evil of Jim Crow era racism may kill them first.
