Later this week, HBO Max is debuting Peacemaker, a new spinoff series from The Suicide Squad. While John Cena’s Christopher Smith/Peacemaker is a known character, the supporting cast is largely unknown. However, HBO Max has given each member of Team Peacemaker their own video profiles. Within these clips is the vital information for each character.
First up is Jennifer Holland’s NSA agent Emilia Harcourt. Like Peacemaker, Harcourt made her first live-action appearance in The Suicide Squad. Regardless of their shared history, Harcourt hates Peacemaker with a passion.
Steve Agee is also reprising his role as John Economos from The Suicide Squad. Like Harcourt, Economos believes that Amanda Waller is getting back at them by saddling them with Peacemaker.
However, Waller isn’t calling the shots on this show. Instead, Chukwudi Iwuji’s Clemson Murn is the new boss.

Next up is Adrian Chase/Vigilante (Freddie Stroma). Unlike the Arrowverse’s portrayal of Chase and Vigilante as different characters, Stroma’s incarnation is a bit of a goof. He’s great at killing, but Chase is deluded if he really believes that he’s Peacemaker’s best friend.
Aside from Chase, Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) is the only one on the team who actually likes Peacemaker. Let’s see if that affection survives repeated exposure to him.
Peacemaker’s best friend, Eagly, doesn’t get a profile video of his own. Regardless, series creator James Gunn shared a clip from the first episode in which Adebayo introduces herself to Eagly. It does not go well…

The first three episodes of Peacemaker will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, January 13. The remaining episodes will be released weekly.
