Marvel Comics has released a first-look preview for the upcoming second issue of Fall of the House of X — one of two limited series depicting the X-Men‘s final battle for Krakoa.
Fall of the House of X #2 hits comic shops next month from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Lucas Werneck. The issue features a cover by Pepe Larraz. At this time, Marvel has shared three unlettered preview pages. To kick things off, Polaris — daughter of Magneto — makes a hell of an entrance by crashing Knowhere directly into an Orchis space station. Elsewhere, the likes of Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Emma Frost, Synch, Rogue, and Gambit take the fight to the anti-mutant group and their Stark Sentinels as well.

What to expect from Fall of the House of X #2
An official synopsis for Fall of the House of X #2 reads as follows: “NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT! The X-Men may be at their lowest spot, and they may be on the brink of complete eradication … but they are not going down without a fight! Polaris returns to guide the X-Men home, bringing a wicked surprise for Orchis! This epic tale split in two continues as the Krakoan Age nears its conclusion!”
Duggan and Werneck’s series will run for a total of five issues — as will Kieron Gillen and R.B. Silva’s Rise of the Powers of X. The dual titles are also accompanied by a number of tie-in series — which help to set the stage for the X-Men line’s post-Krakoa relaunch this summer. Readers will get their first glimpse at this new era in Free Comic Book Day 2024: Blood Hunt/X-Men #1 this May.
Fall of the House of X #2 goes on sale Wednesday, February 14 from Marvel Comics.
