Robert Pattinson Doesn’t Want The Batman To Reignite a Twilight-Like Fandom

Although Robert Pattinson has been acting professionally for 15 years, he’s still best known for headlining the Twilight films. However, Pattinson has largely spurned big budget movies since Twilight came to an end. But considering that Pattinson is headlining The Batman in the title role, he may get another taste of crushing fame. During his upcoming appearance on Sunday Today, Pattinson was asked if he thinks that history will repeat itself. Pattinson’s reply also made it clear that he has no desire to go through that ordeal again.

“There’s a part of me that thinks it’s impossible that what happened in Twilight, because it was just so sudden,” said Pattinson. ” Now, I’m kind of…hoping it won’t be people hanging outside of my place. I think I’m kind of boring and old now. So, it’s fine.”

Pattinson isn’t kidding about the people stalking him outside of his home. It actually happened during the height of his Twilight fandom. You can watch the Sunday Today clip below.
