Halle Berry goes topless with her newly adopted kittens in celebration of the 20th anniversary of 2004’s Catwoman.
Before starring as Patience Phillips (also known as Catwoman) in Pitof’s superhero movie, the actress had some iconic roles under her belt, including Storm in the first two X-Men features and Sharon Stone in 1994’s The Flintstones. She then delved into another coveted role back in 2004 with Catwoman, in which she explained she “had the honor of bringing” to life.
The character has since received new iterations with new faces playing the part, including Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises, Camren Bicondova in Gotham, and — most recently — Zoë Kravitz in The Batman. Fortunately, Berry’s Catwoman has since found a new lease on life in the streaming era. And in light of the movie’s 20th anniversary, the actress shared new photos of herself with the kittens she found in her yard.
“It’s been 20 years today since I had the honor of bringing this iconic character to life. She will always be close to my heart and I will forever be Patience Phillips aka [Catwoman],” Berry wrote on Instagram.

Halle Berry’s other acting credits after Catwoman
While her Catwoman was not as well received as her other roles, Berry went on to star in a plethora of projects, such as the succeeding X-Men movies, Cloud Atlas, Kidnap, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Moonfall, among others. Besides the big screen, Berry also starred in television shows like Living Dolls and Extant.
The actress can next be seen in Never Let Go, an upcoming survival horror film by Alexandre Aja set to hit theaters on September 27, 2024.
